Au Petit-Bonheur, les cars-scolaires sont en vacances. L'abri-bus s'ennuie des rires d'enfants.

In "Petit-Bonheur" (Young-happiness), the school buses are on holidays. The bus shelter dreams about children's laughter.

S'agit-il de ces cercles de fer avec lesquels on attachait, par le cou,
à un poteau, certains criminels condamnés à l'exposition publique ? Non, il s'agit de colliers utilisés dans la fabrication de wagons de chemin de fer.

Are they just some iron rings, which we used to fix to posts, or were they used to shackle criminals for exhibition ? No, they are clips used in railcar manufacture !
