A la "Roche aux Fées", une grosse pierre gênait l'arbre au pied duquel elle se trouvait. Eh bien l'arbre est tout simplement en train de la "manger", de la faire disparaître sous une excroissance de racines !


At the "Roche aux Féés (Fairies)", a large stone obstructing the tree at the foot of which she was. Well the tree is simply being the "eat", to make it disappear as an outgrowth of roots !

This is fantastic! I just love the way old trees continue their growth over/around obstacles. Thanks to them many abandoned historical sites have been preserved, like Angkor, Tikal or Copan, instead of falling apart.

Extraordinaire! Peut-être connais-tu les petits bouquins de la Hulotte? Il y en a eu un sur ces drôles de trucs que les arbres inventent...

Un arbre "pierrophage", fantastique comment la nature sait parfois se défendre.
Et si elle pouvait le faire tout le temps, nous n'existerions plus, nous les hommes !
